how about you also complain that your coca cola tastes different for 8 days because most of coca cola montreals production ( 2 liter bottles) is altered and there is one ingredient that is changed for passover....

This policy is a breach of The Charter of Human Rights and freedoms, but judging the treatment of Palestinians I guess you wouldn't know that.

hey if other hospitals allowed jews back in the day maybe there wouldnt be the need for a jewish hospital.( btw jews have have paid more in donations then non jews could have ever payed in taxes for that hospital) .
this is where the the real problem, kosher laws are extremly stringent. example if a piece of pork is cooked on kosher bareque that barbeque is no longer kosher etc. So for jews who do respect kashrut they need the premise to be close to 100 % completely kosher .
since it's the jewish general i fail to see the a real problem especially since they have a non kosher cafeteria then the worker could have walked a extra five minutes to get to.
the day jews bitch at the royal vic about having a kosher cafeteria etc then rant your in heart out. but let the truth me told most of the posters here are inherently biased when it comes to jewish issues and some are just plain out racist.
Where are all the posts about the jewish communit center fails firebomb attempt last week or how two jewish schools where firebombed in three years . and no one better give me bull that this is not a religious issue cause one post finished with the death to israel and another with zionist pricks(pluralised so dont give bs about how it was about dj meir either) |

This country should never have allowed Jews to claim rights to their own "law" within our legal system, big ing mistake.
It's Canada's law, not the jews, I hope we get a crazy ass Conservative leader soon, way crazier than Harper so that they can re-define the seperation of religion from state. |

| jewish law holds no ground in the canadian legal system with the exception of marriage birth and death certificate same thing as the church and as much as a agree with you this is simply not going to change it'll be easy to run the minority religions down but good luck getting the church to roll over and get out of every goverment associated affair. till then bitch about the issue you care for religion and state and dont post this bull biased jewish hospital or muslim whatever . If you want to respect the charter then it changes for everyone not just muslims and jews. |

Regarding your other post.
Just because the jews were mistreated at one time, and they started their own hospital, DOES NOT MEAN that they have the EXCLUSIVE rights to it anymore, nor do they have the right to infringe on Non-Jewish Canadian rights.
I heard the jewish general got pwnd by the human rights comission after they expelled an Ambulance driver who brought in his own "non-kosher" lunch.
So please, while you ARE RIGHT about Jews making the vast majority of donations to START the hospital (In fact it was to start a CLINIC, NOT A HOSPITAL) it would be NEARLY impossible for the Jewish community to continue running a full blown hospital simply by donations from the public, it is tax payers money that is keep it open and therefore it is a public institution, it should be wiped clean of religious BS and treated as any other government run facility, RELIGION FREE! |

your right but im saying dont single out the jewish hospital if your gonna talk about separation church and state do it full out . dont seperate the minority religions take out the churches from the hospitals change the st marie to miss mary mack for all i care take down any crucifix but till then this post is nothing but a pretense to rant how your country (my country too )is being under attack by minorities and it should stop. |

A) I think all violent acts against any minority should be SEVERELY punished according to the Canadian legal system.
B) The Jewish community seems to thrive on sensationalism to fuel it's CONSTANT complaining. Violent acts are committed against other minority groups ALL THE TIME in this city, you think EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is reported and treated as if a nuclear bomb went off? Why does the Jewish community think in such linear terms, that nothing else but what affects them directly is important? After all, myself, a non-jew am reacting to jewish issues, AS WELL as Muslim issues, christian issues and many other ETHNIC issues as well.
When was the last time the jewish community gave a about the mistreatment of Muslims or others? In fact the Jewish community was in total outrage over the attempts by islamic leaders in Canada to give the same marriage "legal" rights in accordance to religion, to muslims as jews have. (as you mentioned before :p)
I just went and checked to see if you'd posted something, and you had so I'm gonna answer to that too.
I don't have a problem with the hospital being called the Jewish general hospital, I think it's a very classy and respectable way to pay homage to a GREAT achievement by the jewish community, and in the end, a name is a name is a name.
BUT, go to St-Mary's and tell me that you are forced to eat turkey at christmas and follow other dumb Christian practices during your stay? I have stayed at St-Mary's, my best friend's mom is a dietician there and she has not once heard a complaint from any one of her patients, many of them being muslims/jews/budhists etc. |
