Magdelayna + Richard Gale - Back To The Stars (138bpm uplifting collab) sample

Yo ladies and gents.
over the last few weeks Myself and Magdelayna (adam rodriquez) have been workin on a collaberation. Its been hard because adam is logic based and i am cubase. so all work was done mainly using wav's.
Adam layed the first idea of where we were going. A summery and happy uplifter and sent a load od wavs. I then build some percussions, bass, and some melodies to go with this. Then we mixed them together and ended with this track...

So far we have had great responses from manuel le saux, aly and fila and some dj even said it made him wanna cry...hahaha

Nice kick, subtle bassy synth from the start..
powerfull snare comes in!
great synth layering in the progression where the "typical Gale pads" comes in. I think they really sound like yours.
sounds very happy indeed, already and im around 2 minutes.
nice transition to the break with the filter and the cut away kick!
midhighfiltered gatepad sounds nice when it comes in..
reverbed kick. :D
sweeeeeet melody, sweet as a little girl that picks flowers :p.
lots of stuff playing if im not mistaken in the break.
whoa. kick comes back in totally unexpected :p
the bass and melody sound very Gale'ish too :) which I like!
harmony is perfect, really summertune!
nice layering btw (4:45)
second break, breaking the track off..
im not very good in structures but this doesnt really do it..
I'd expected a short "full return" after the 2nd break, like in Suburban Train..
outro still is good nonetheless!
no wonder you got alot of support already :)

cubase and logic collab, OUCH! obviously you made it work anyway :D
doesnt make me cry, but I take that as something good, because usually I only cry when something is bad (something that tend to happen often)
I like this the sound of this track, simplistic but still delivers the message, the true way of music in my opinion :cool: reminds me of adam moor for some reason.
I dont have anything constructive to say about this track, I never do, because music is music and I let the creator do the things he or she has intended to, without any technical blabber. I spend my energy on enjoying what I like instead, and this is a good track!
Keep up the good work rich, I have always found collabs very hard to do, eventhough I'd love to do it :sadgreen:
