anyone see themselves doing this with out even thinking about it?
im not necessarily studying what my dad studied in college, but i think i am going in the same path when seeking for a job/internship...
do alot of people do this? or do people mostly go away from what their parents do? i am instrested in hearing your opinions. |

| I pretty much copied my dad's studying career exactly down to every detail. And I only found out about it afterwards. |

my parents are both teachers.
i'm switching my major to education. mainly because i grew up with them always being home when i was and summer vacations off with the family together, i want my kids to have that kind of upbringing. also, i've seen and heard about the good that they've done...it really is a rewarding job because you can make such a difference, and i'd like to take part versus getting a corporate job that is solely about attaining financial endeavors. haha plus i want to teach history (like my dad) and i'll have free access to his curriculum.
whether you follow in your parents footsteps or not, you have a bird's eye view of how their occupation influences their life. and based on how much they love their job can make or break if you want to persue the same. |

| I am not at all like my parents or anyone else in my family in any regard. I firmly believe that I am adopted. |
