I had bad experiences with the french speakers in ottawa, tho. what in s, it took all I was worth not to cuss people out the weekend I went up :whip: *and got some guy fired because of it, but thats a whole other story*

lol @ the King. :)

I'd have to agree with the people in Madrid...I walked out of a club we were at and was randomly talking to some people in the street who were messing around with some Bongo's.

I ended up smoking myself silly, in fact they might have had bongo's too, hell I'm still feeling the effects of whatever was in that bong dude!

People tend to be a little more relaxed when they're on vacation.

my high school (TCS, in Port Hope ont). while I have met many people since then that I think are great individuals from all over the world, I have never come across so many wonderful people in one place and I think they have set the bar so high that I doubt it will ever be matched.

For me I would say Madrid considering the size of the city it had some very open, friendly and social people.

For some reason the locals I befriended one night kept calling me "the king" and offering me drinks and smokes. Some type of local expression I suppose??? I don't know about everyone else but anyplace that I'm refered to as "the king" is good in my books:p

Also, the Irish and South African people I've met seem to be very nice aswell.

WOW. it must be so difficult for be surrounded by people who are not Spanish, Irish and South African!!!! HOLY . I feel so bad for you.
so many mean people out there.

omigod, this totally means everyone else is mean., horrible and unfriendly people.

looooooooooolzzzzzz
I dunno man I work at this South African place, like so many people come in there and they're not so nice. :(

What hurts me the most is not being around the Mighty Mountain Pygmy Tribe of deepest, darkest Central Africa anymore:(

Back in my days when I was operating a cruise down the Congo River I saved the Cheiftans daughter from drowning during the very rainy monsoon season.

I was made honourary tribal cheif for a week! People carrying me around on a chair and cooling me down by waving massive leaves. Oh man was it the .

Oh and then there was the Incredible Nomadic Horsemen of Mongolia but we'll save the for another post;)
