:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :D :happy2: holy these pics make it appear to be like it will be partying at the brixton academy in london, which is perhaps one of the coolest ing venues on the planet, merely because it is an old concert/opera hall. it's beautiful, and there is nothing like partying inside of it!!! i'm not even huge on tiesto, but i don't think i can miss this.... |

| Hammerstain has been the rock venue of choice, with bands like Korn and Perfect Circle in th past, ECW has had events there and they still do "cultural" events like orchestras and what not, it is a ballroom, abnd felt by many on the rock scene to be one of the best acoustics in America for an indoor venue, I believe it holds around 5,000 |

Re: the venue..great venue but I won't be going for Tiesto..it's also probably gonna be an arm and 2 legs just to get in. |

It would be cool to go -- even FOR Tiesto. Well actually let me take that back, while I go and listen to his latest album...
Hammerstein DOES have great acoustics though (I wonder if they would book floor AND seats). I haven't been to one of his shows since 2005 so I wouldn't mind checking it out. I don't believe we ever had any sort of TIC-like event right here in the city (as he has done in other states) -- wait the Borgata Events Center gig was kinda TIC-like right? <-- I wouldn't know i didnt go to that one.
I remember a few years back I was waiting for MSG to be considered as a possible venue but it never came to fruition...
Your right though, tickets WOULD probably cost an arm and a leg...and who knows how long the event would be? (4 hours? i heard other TIC shows were like that in the US) |

| Mmm, I don't think TIC stopped in NYC when he was in the states last time. As far as an event at MSG, I'm kind of hoping Sensation White actually comes to NYC this year (they have it on their site as TBA), and that seems like a great use of MSG. |

nah i gave up on TIC in NYC a long time ago (and Tiesto for that matter lol), esp. when Tiesto ended up at CP for Summerstage instead <-- hardly a worthy substitute for an arena. Perhaps other regions have a larger fan base than NYC, thats why TIC never came. well Hammerstein is more of a concert hall than a club soo maybe this will be it. :) |

What difference does it make if it's a local DJ? But it won't hurt anyone because right after the 'DJ' posted the questionable post, and i quoted it, it was removed by the 'DJ', and i subsequently removed quote. |

| difference is, its a firend that most of us on the board know or have met and really like, if it was guy from a far way land like boston (j/k) than maybe we would not care so much, just whatching out and trying not to get a guy in trouble, but I do agree with those who ask why does this stuff have to be kept under wraps, do like Made, once an event is finalized post it up, like PVD why wait, maybe Tiesto is not a done deal, but if it is let everyone know, enough with secretive BS |
