Me either...basically someone high up messed up. That college should have been shut down in less than an hour after a kid died in the dorms...stupid...alot of deaths could have been avoided |

From what I understand, the first victim was at around 755am.. he then moved to some classrooms at around 8 and killed more people. He was basically walking around killing people.
Have any of you guys seen the movie "ELEPHANT"? that's what I'm guessing it went down..
The school got into a lock-down. There are videos of police in campus where you could hear the shots from the inside buildings and SWAT running into the building's.. This are huge building's with bunch of classroom's, it's not like you surround one small area. People were been evacuated as the SWAT's broke through and checked each classroom.
This is some crazy sad thing. I have friends in Virginia Tech good thing they are ok
PS: I just read that police thought that the killing in the dorm was isolated. When that happened in UM it was the same. Who would have thought that this guy would walk around killing people? :-( |

I just love how the media begins to scrutinize everything now...calling him a "loner" & "manic depressive" (rather bi-polar)
why do people need all these labels as an excuse for their actions?
The kid went on a rampage because he was pissed at his g/f or something involving a girl and decided to carry on his rage.
I'm sorry, labeling people is just so idiotic & it doesn't make any sense.
I'm sorry but there isn't a disorder for every murdering bastard in this world. :rolleyes: |

| You people act as if like this has never happened !! LOL It's been happening since the beginning of time . Today on Paul and Ron on big 105 fm they brought up over a dozen similar incidents that have happened in the past century. I just love how people blame todays society etc etc . Lets see what you guys would have to say if you guys lived in the era of the romans when the colleseum was up and running ;) You guys wanna talk about VIOLENCE?? We just hear more of it now since we have so many easy ways to hear about it . Tv, radio . Todays new reporters are anywhere in minutes nowadays . Back in the day that was impossible.
