i didnt want to rumage of massive guides or theory to compressing. i just wanted a basic understandable explaination. |

yeah i never understood it from reading either...
it wasnt until i actually tried to use it that i started to understand.
a compressor that helped me learn was the C1 waves compressor...it has a visual aid that made it all clear.
i also read the manual that came with it.
edit: wait what, you dont want to grasp the concept fully? why even bother then, huh? |

| did u study manuals when u were 10 - 15 hours into producing like? thats all i used it i havent even started really but have been listening to trance for ages so that helps a lot in producing. a lot of people have made great tunes and had them released without ever reading manuals. i asked for a simple explanation, when i get to teh stage of mastering i WILL read right into it, ignorant **** |

seventh, yes, i said it's difficult to comprehend somthing to the fullest by just reading...but you said yourself that you DONT want to grasp the concept fully. why, i dunno.

coherent sentences what the is this english grammar class? both yankie responses were the same in ignorance. instead of giving me a few lines explaining it (if u even know, which i dont think u do as no matter how complex it is u will be able to summarize it in a rough short answer) u turned it into an argument.
