I don't understand why you have your prom now? Our proms at my school were after everything was done and I mean EVERYTHING. After all the exams, classes , graduation. We have graduation one night and prom either the next night ( which is always Saturday) or the following Saturday. I'd hate to have it when there are still 1 and a half months of school left. |

| We had our formal in august (year ends half way through November). They just want to get it out of the way I guess, so people aren't preparing/pre-occupied during last term when they should be focused on assessment. |
