Calling Dems criminals and making a generalization that voting for Dems will furiate Israel's enemies is grossly over-looking the fact that the United States over all pisses off most of the Middle East regardless of who is in the office. I also don't want to hear you complain when you support people who oppress gay civil rights and then yell at gays when they fight for those rights.
Realistically, gay people can't have rights because most Republicans use religiously based bias disguised as general "morals" to keep gays from getting rights. Here's a smart idea: why don't they just give gays their equal rights? Why can't they do that? Because gay people are preventing America from dealing with real issues? No. Because anyone who has bias against a group of people when that group should have equal protection, such as most of those Republicans, are in office. So the real threat against important issues isn't political gay activists, it's Republicans.
Do you remember what black people did when they didn't get their equal rights? They protested and make their issue Americas top issue. Now the gays are doing it. So you're going to have to deep throat on a giant for a little while longer until stupid s like Shaolin Z's fantasy Ron Paul finally caves in to giving everyone equal rights.

Well, technicaly, the consitution never protected gay marriage to begin with and it was never culturally accepted. So it's never had jack to do with the constitution, therefore, has nothing to do with restoring it. And I'm done with this stupid discussion since all you seem to care about is some trivial bull in comparison to the civil liberties were loosing and everything else that's at stake. You've got to be the most politically unenlightened, imperceptive, selfish, and apathetic gay man I have ever talked to. I'd say about 90% of gay men I've ever come across are pretty well informed and politically aware, not to mention fairly intelligent, and, :eek:, quite pro-Palestinian. Having lived in San Fran, and now Austin, I've know plenty. |

Sorry shaolin_Z, but in re-reading your rabid defense of the libertarian, you haven't even addressed what seems to be your primary concern. What civil liberties of yours are being ripped to shreds? And do you really think that Democrats are responsible?
The only thing I can gather from your unintelligible rant is that you support Ron Paul because you want the privacy to not have your internet activity monitored as you watch gay porn while masturbating in your grandma's panties.
Although I do find some relief in the fact that your vote will be wasted on a third party candidate and it will not go to support a Republican that will further try to erode the civil liberties that I hold dear:
- The right to free speech
- The right to assemble
- The right to a speedy trial
- The right to due process
And your seeming inability to empathize with the need for minority rights is appalling, especially when your only reason seems to be there isn't time to help them when you are concerned with whatever rights you seem to have lost. When we start abandoning the rights of our fellow countrymen to save our own, 'tis a sad day. It isn't like Jake Benson is asking for more rights than you, he just wants the same rights that are afforded to heterosexual Americans. |

Now where the did that come from? Did you bother reading what I posted earlier? Just so you know, no I don't think homosexuality is morally ok. Does that mean I hate gay people or am against them having right? No. I also think premarital sex and drug use is immoral, which I would be guilty of too, does that mean I hate myself and virually all straight people around me? I will restate my point for you, as you seem to be mentally challenged at times. I understand that you think a state acknowledged relationship is trivial. You need to understand that there are many people that trivialize the civil liberties that you care about. When people stop trying to defend all civil rights, that's a sad day for our country.
