Recommend TA Mixes

Have become absolutely tired of radioshows and livesets from the same 'big names'.
Could people here recommend some good mixes from the Dj Promotion area. 99% of the sets on my HD are trance, so if you could stay away from trance while recommending. Trying to sort of broaden horizons a bit.

A few lines on why you recommend a particular set would also help.
Thanks
RJT
There's a thread in DJ Promotion for this, here:

And here's my post from that thread:

Well, here are the links I posted in the TA DJ Appreciation thread in MD, definitely some of my favorites on here:

Clovis - Red Line

* Probably the kids best work so far... Also one that's getting more and more listens each week.

Stu Cox - Never Enough

* Short (30 Min) tech/breaks madness... Reminded me a LOT of Ricky Ryan's Guest Mix on Kiss 100 for some reason, not in sound, but just really banging, quickly mixed nastiness.

Allied Nations - Elvissa

* Pure Ibiza inspired chillout.

Metatron - Incalescent

* Download the full length version, worth every minute...

Also:

* Montana's "4 Phases..." dub set

I still listen to all of these sets pretty regularly :)

Edit: There are many more as well, but honestly - just start browsing threads in the DJ Promotion forum and download some with tracklists that either tickle your fancy or perhaps where you don't recognize a single tune.

You'll find some gems in there ;)

thanks a lot mate
was browsing through the dj promotion area anyway, just thought it would help a bit if people who've listened and liked a particular mix recommend it themselves.

sets by:

Allied Nations
Clovis
RJT/lücid
Az
Bloodflower
Psy-T (yes, we all are mentioning that 400 minute long acid set)
Sand Leaper
Montana
Mikey Mike
Wicked Neo's Chill Out Mixes

they'll fit the bill most of the time. Just search around in there for any/all of their sets.

to add:

Coded Audio and Corentin do some bomb sets too.
DJ Mikey Mike
Stu Cox's 3 Deck Techno Mix makes me rather wet.

Link appears to still be active as well.

Agreed - though, if anyone wants any of the sets that lücid or I have done, they'll have to PM us because I couldn't afford to keep my domain :(

Mikey, is your three hour live set still hosted?

:conf:

That or your "Disco/Dog" mix are definitely in my recommended listening pile.

ok, did some browsing through those links,
and have chose Stu Cox - ThreeTechDeckno to download first.

have heard only of DK - Murder is the bass, and of Marco Bailey from that tracklist, and i dont recall ever hearing a techno mix from start to end.

lets see how it goes.( keep recommending though)
Trancefxs
djrain - departure 2003

No idea if it's still possible to find it somewhere.

Here the original thread and you can still download it. Haven't listened to the 2006 version tough.
