:) Whats good everyone!
I hope everyone is preparing for an eventful weekend!
Since I know FLTA's are among the pickiest people I have ever laid ears on in my life.. I figured what better way to critique what I have been working on than to subject it to the 'constructive criticism' department of FLTA! hehe
Keep in mind, however, the link is good for only one week and for the 1st 100 people..so act fast! this is a track you will never see again unless you get it from me..and im offering it for free to the 1st 100 people that get it! Sied Van Riel is going to be playing it in Cyprus for a huge party he was booked for any I have gotten really good responses from dj's that have already performed on my show. But enough of what the dj's say..I wanna hear what the listeners have to say :)

I actually send the track to a few dj's who are going to be floor testing it soon at upcoming gigs..one dj (Sied Van Riel) is going to drop it at his next gig in Cyprus (off Greece) :eyespop: :eyespop:
I cant wait to hear what the crowd reaction will be!
PS- Above all I really appreciate you taking the time and looking thru my stuff regardless of what naysayers may talk about. There are more people on there that love to talk trash behind the scenes than would like to admit.
;) its ok. i know they secretly check out my mixes and try and find those little things they dont like so that they can reinforce the opinions they have of me :disbelief
I just hope they understand that all they are doing is spreading my name around. sooner or later those people that 'overheard' that i suck as a dj or that im a sh!t talker/hater are going to run into people that listen to my stuff all the time, and they will know the truth then :toocool: it doesnt matter if it takes 3 years or 30. my hobby/passion with djing and production will not die simply because someone doesnt like me. Tiesto was the number 1 dj in the world and everyone used to hate on his mixing and tracks..but somehow he stayed up there for 3 years in a row :happy2: .. i wonder why all that hating didnt take him off?
:) either way.. I appreciate the comments and if at all, can you mention what you feel could use improving? i started to work a little bit more with automation but i feel like the bassline and melodies are a bit thin..like they could use something thicker behind it to make it sound more driving..any suggestions? |

Well i def like it this one more then the last one. IMO a little faster bpm would help, it kinda feels like a closing track.. And ya a stronger bassline would be good.. |

you mean this friday? I many not be able to go :( i have to stop by to see a potential party that im planning (FRIDAY AFTERHOURS..YEAAAA)and i have to head to the beach to go show support to Eddie G and company @ Blue.
George is a great guy, and so is edgar.. and if it were any other day I'd definitely go but unfortunately after seeing eddie im headed home.. I have to because I have to get up at 6 am to take some meds for an exam i have at 9 on saturday morning :( gayyyyyy
now if you will excuse me.. off I go to smoke a bowl

yea, the bpm is at 134 if im not mistaken but It can go faster without compromising the track..i'd say about 137-ish? anything past that would prolly sound like its way faster since it does have overlaying melodies..they get pitched up just like everything else and i hate to play stuff that sounds like mickeymouse music..LOL~

Didn't know what to expect downloading this since I haven't heard your mixes much. Wow...I am definitely impressed. I think you should leave the bpm the same (maybe a little faster would be ok).
I just set up a new sound card/speakers so I think my EQ is jacked, but it sounds to me like it should have some deeper bass. I could definitely see this going into some pounding sets. Anyway, good luck! |

:D :D thanks! I mentioned it to my partner in crime (ss7) about the bassline as a few people have mentioned that.. so what we are gonna do is try and make the bass sound a bit more pronounced so it has that umph to it that isn't so present now.
