sorry
for example about jailing an Egyptian blogger
http://hrw.org/english/docs/2007/01/27/egypt15192.htm
The organization didn't condemn the reasons for jailing
except
| quote: | | “Charging someone for the peaceful expression of their views is sadly not new in Egypt,” said Sarah Leah Whitson, Middle East and North Africa director at Human Rights Watch. “By curbing a blogger’s freedom to post, the government may be trying to close an important space for Egyptians to speak openly about events and issues that worry them.” |
Instead of that it offended the gov.
however
He spread widely iconoclast and antisemtic writings against the islamic religion and the Egyptian community.

WAT's about The start of the war??
| quote: | | The conflict with Iraq is about weapons of mass destruction, Rumsfeld insisted. |
| quote: | | "It has nothing to do with oil, literally nothing to do with oil. It has nothing to do with the religion." |
| quote: | | "Five days or five weeks or five months, but it certainly isn't going to last any longer than that," he said. "It won't be a World War III." |
| quote: | | "With a weapon of mass destruction you're not talking about 300 people or 3,000 people being killed, but 30,000 or a hundred thousand." |
| quote: | | "The United States government, the president and others, are communicating with people in Iraq, in the military, very forcefully that they ought not to use those weapons," Rumsfeld said. "Anyone in any way connected with weapons of mass destruction and their use will be held accountable, and people who helped avoid that would be advantaged." |
Donald Rumsfeld

So, you're saying that you don't approve of 3rd parties commenting on the legal process within Egypt and you don't like Iconoclast and anti-Semitic, anti-Islamic and anti-Egyptian writings.
However, you'll quite happily say and endorse those things yourself about other peoples countries like the United States and point out their failings, those at home you can't talk about because lets face it, no country is perfect.
It is in the interests that this person's case be documented and kept on the radar so to speak, you might not like what he had to say, but in this modern day and age. Who's to say his webpage wasn't hacked and someone else posted it just to get him into trouble?
It's entirely possible!
At least with a 3rd party like HRW looking at it from a neutral perspective outside the country there's at least someone checking to make sure that the legal process of a fair trial isn't being breached, they are not supporting any of the 'Anti-####' anything.
Just making sure there's a due process for the accused.

Cut the silly faces and ranting or I'll be withdrawing from the argument and you can bicker amongst yourselves.
HRW was watching Iraq before the invasion and it is watching it after the invasion.
There's a lot of good reasons to be doing both and in all fairness, they are still doing it after the invasion to keep an eye on the US, regardless of current affairs, it is irrefutable that Saddam and the Ba'athists where doing some terrible things in that country. I only say irrefutable because there where so many sources of information from a large amount of different backgrounds with nothing to gain personally by slandering anyone.
| quote: | like ur leader
Ignoring these facts?? |
My leader? I've lived, worked and travelled to 48 countries around the world before I was 27, my sense of national loyalty to any particular place is at best slack, to be honest, I have no national loyalty to any country! I have some sympathy for Africa, but that's only because I was born there and seen some of the atrocities and suffering first hand, that's about it. For a time when I was younger and more idealistic and perhaps stupid I even decided to pick up a gun and fight for what I believed in, however it's proven to not be a very good way of doing anything in hindsight. Anyone who glorifies that is a complete moron.
I am not picking sides here, I'm certainly not sympathetic to the US and I'm certainly not sympathetic to a great many Middle East countries either for their similar abuses both large and small. |

Wat's the matter?????????
In ur country or any western country
actually there's a justice and a punishment against
Antisemtic , the demoraliztion against religions,.......etc.
No fairrness with (HRW especially) (and i'mnot aginst the 3rd parties )in the commenting on the legal process.
i've mentioned this.

I'm with u no country is perferct.
But i'm not talking about perfecteness.(1st)
The same as ur past posts
We're (the M.eastern)the westernhaters,against democracy.
it's cool for hating and damn them (western people)
and
they'renot against terrorism or condemn it
and some of them support these groups.
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...12&pagenumber=1
Do u remember??
BUt i'm not talking against them(the western people)
There's a great difference between
that these western societies or their democracy (which is the best in the world)
AND THEIR LEADERS(of course not all of them)who govern them
who have the worest politices against the whole world(Not only the M.East)
and their DOUPLE STANDADRS POLITICES in dealing with
the M.Eastern countries and their crises,
for the sake of ISRAEL and the ZIONISM LOBBY.
The supporting of terroristic groups.
MAINLY for Oil
It's the Language of Interests (stfu)
1.This's against the strategic dialogue and in the field of security and national defense ,the state's security and its contents strategy.
2.This's against the sign of any agreements or international or regional treaties that could endanger the security risk.
3.This's a existential threat to the position of the states and its national identity.
Is this my only M.Eastern opininons but also The EU countries[/QUOTE]

Muslims; they want tolerance but give no tolerance....
just remember that the next time you scream double standard again....
tolerance = free speech
no matter if I say Jesus Christ in Taxi Cab or Mohamed was a thug...... In your Country I would be jailed. even killed perhaps? Its just when you muslims rioted about the Cartoons. ING A CARTOON PEOPLE!!!! Even as far as the whole Koran in the Toilet thing.......Not everyone in the world agrees with your view points...and if you want to progress in the World tolerance is KEY!
What is so hard to understand about that. Its like If I would say your mom sucks.... you know its not the truth....so why get angry over it. You people know Mohamed was not a bomb carrying terrorist. So why get upset....its crazy. Is it the respect thing?? or is it you muslims really want to convert the world??? |
