| Howell's 24/7 is just retardedly good. I don't understand why there aren't more "mainstream" chill out efforts of that type, also like Van M's first disc on 10. |

| For any of you who know or care to check out (on beatport) Omnimotion- Japan, this really is close to what I am looking for, a blur between genres like electronic, indie rock, down tempo. |

I was going to include Omnimotion in my first post ;)
Seriously, check out some of the stuff I mentioned. And things like Sigur ros, Helios, Metric, Broken Social Scene, Clue to Kalo, and Bitcrush. All of them are gooooood. Many of them have an indie rock vibe to them, especially Metric and Broken Social Scene. |

My roomate and I are ridiculously addicted to ambient Moby and Philip Glass right now. They're going to carry us through finals just like Emiliana and Sia did last year!

Oh, and every other Goldfrapp track or so is a really good chill out tune.
Black Cherry is my fave, and was also named by Moby as one of his all-time favorite tracks iirc. |

I'm absolutely in love with Emiliana Torrini. She has the most beautiful voice evar, and I can't listen to a single tune of hers without going .
Edit: Oh, and I suppose that this thread is as good as any to mention that I'm working on a Chillout/Downtempo mix. I don't know when I'll have it done because I'm taking my time finding the right tracks for it, but... yeah... soon, hopefully. |

Actually, I did search and came up with nothing. |
I've commented on at least 3 different ambient/downtempo threads in the past month I know. |
