Question re: internal HDs used externally

Cant seem to find the info I really want re: this.

I have numerous internal HDs that I am not using (wasting!) as my compy only has power supply for two..

So I am looking to find some kind of dock that I can simply just slide these HDs in; the dock (not sure if this is the right term) will be connected to my compy via a USB2 connection.

I'm sure/know they exist... anyone have any sight in what I'm for? The correct name for this type of product? What cost might run me? Though, once I know what to search for, pretty sure I can Google the cost of them pretty quick.

Thx in advance guys

Buy some external HDD enclosure cases thus turning the regular internal HDD into an external and portable drive.

Range of price for an external casing will run you between $50-$200 depending on size, weight, design, brand.

What I did was each time I rand out of space, and too lazy to burn my data on CDs, DVDs, etc... I buy a larger HD. I slave it up, xfer my old HDs to it, and give away my old HDs. A hundred bucks buys a 300gig drive nowadays.
