The remix of 'Missing' that Strangis played was the Tenishia mix.

Was a great night. Amazing production by Future, best ive seen there by miles. Strangis opened great. Prob the best ive seen him at one of these big events. I actually thought MIKE was a standout. Perfect set for his timeslot. Thrillseekers was amazing. I mean i went to Godskitchen to hear trance after all:) Rank 1 was decent, a little sloppy at times. Richard Durand for me was all over the shop. No programming whatsoever. He played great when playing tech, but he would then loose any momentum and chuck on some cheesy vocal track or remix.

One thing i did notice was a distinct lack of new or unreleased tunes. When i see internationals i usually hear plenty of stuff ive never heard before. Most tunes on the night are stuff most locals are banging out at the moment. Good tunes mind you just not really that upfront.

I noticed that too. Although I wasn't able to ID all of the tracks on the night by name, I've definitely heard 95% of them all (bar a few remixes) on radio shows and the like. Was looking forward to see a TL with a whole bunch of ID - ID? and people frantically trying to track down the new tunes. Can't complain though. The music selection was top notch :D

Next big event I might have to starve myself and not download any radio shows

It is cool when you hear unheard tracks live, but i still prefer to know the track i'm hearing: it's why classics pwn :)

That's what those people at 21sts who want to hear Summer Of '69 for the 45625253rd time say.

In my opinion, there's nothing better than hearing the best set of your life and not knowing a single track.

haha, true.
I do LOVE trying to find tracks that moved me on the night in TLs, then going to get them and blasting them the next day, re-living the memories... :)

No you're right it sounded like a double beat the whole time. I had to change seats!

Good to know it wasn't just me tripping balls. The sound on the dancefloor was perfect. Just the right volume and crystal clear. Pity it sucked when it was time for a breather.

On another note, I ran into Tenishia on the dancefloor near the VIP bar and was informed of Kirsty Hawkshaw coming out next year for some live vocals :happy2:
