Whatcha getting for dear ole' mom for Mothers Day?

So I'm starting this thread early since I need gift ideas on what I could get my mom for Mothers day which is creeping up slowly but surely. I've always procrastinated and just gotten something random like flowers. But this year I want to really think about it and get her something she would really want.
So far I was thinking of getting those personalized MM's but they won't be ready until 5/18.
For my bf's mom we're gonna chip in and get her a web cam since she lives in CA, so they can chat and video conference. :)
For my mum I'm thinking of some nice Shiseido makeup. Most of it is on the pricier side so she doesn't usually get it for herself.
But I'm throwing the question out to you all so that we can give each other some good ideas.
What will you be getting for your mom on Mother's Day? |

| IMO, to tell the truth she has gone to some part of the world on vacation and didnt bother to tell both her sons even where. we only know when she comin back. |

A Card and a phone call...mom's too far away!!!
In the past I have taken her out to brunch just me and her which is cool since I have 3 sister's and its hard for us to spend time together just the two of us. |

Aww I'm sorry Mere. Yea I definitely take it for granted that I see my mom everyday.
That brunch idea sounds nice, something as simple as that goes a long way I think. |

My mom doesn't want any gifts. She said that since I became a mother I should be getting my own gifts now. I got her something anyway though, nothing fancy but she told me she wanted it so I ordered it and paid for it. She just got a Samsung Sync MP3 phone so she wanted me to buy her the accesory kit with the data cable, software, case, clip, extra charger etc.
And of course since she doesnt have a computer I get the "FUN" job of transfering all of the MP3's she wants to her phone when the cable gets here. |

| yeah, my mom's not the gift type either...most likely a really nice brunch, maybe a nice day together, then dinner. i rarely get to see her...and now that my sister is permanently in San Diego, it would be nice to spend time with her. :) |
