| Most of the time it's a term that people like to use to describe others in a way that will make them feel better about how extremely boring they are. |

| Arbiter pretty much summed it up. Frankly it's a bull term (the way it's used), as you have to consider many moral aspects, and often people who judge others as immature are bitter hypocrites. |

Been thinking about this again lately. I read some blog where the author basically writes that anyone not married off and looking to have kids by their 20s must be a pitiful, self-indulgent emotional adolescent.
Mostly I agree that "maturity" as a term is just used to berate people whose lifestyles are not to your taste. |

It was a weird year for me. Moved back home for about eight months. Lived with a friend and an acquaintance in an apartment. Spent a ton of time on TA. Did more drugs and drinking than I ever had before or have since. Had a short-lived long distance thing with a 34 year old woman from Chicago. Then left again to go finish up school.
It had its pluses and minuses. |

| For some reason I picture you living alone in a trailer (one of those silver bullet old school ones) in Alaska. Eating canned beans over a fire every night and whittling native art out of drift wood. Smoking hand rolled cigarettes and drinking whiskey you bought at the trading post. |

No, it was rather more mundane than that. But keep that image if you like. :D |
