It's a rare moment when Chris can be found in the country without a gig to play, a track to remix or a record review to write for Wax Magazine or Update. It's this dedication to the music and the club/free party scene that he helped create, that has found him being placed in the Top 50 of DJ Magazine's poll of the best DJ's in the world. He also records under a huge range of pseudonyms (on his own & with other producers such as D.A.V.E. Beginning as a DJ in NYC, it was not long before Dave tried his hands at producing. Since that time, Function has developed as one of the most respected and recognized techno producers/DJs on the East Coast. With releases on techno's prestigious labels Synewave & Downwards (which also hosts other techno giants such as Regis, Damon Wild, Advent, Joe Mull, etc.) Function was able to take his acclaim to new heights as he opened his own record label Infrastructure in the 1990's. Kemal (Cryptic Audio Recordings, Glasgow UK)
Kemal, half of the infamous Kemal and Rob Data aka Konflict duo, will be coming in from the United Kingdom to play some serious drum and bass for the DC massive. Drawing on his early love of acid and Detroit techno, Kemal found that mixing it up with Rob's hardcore-breakbeat roots has proven to be the essential element in the development of their astoundingly unique sound. With their unreleased bits continually being hammered on dubplates by the world's most prominent djs, and their constant touring schedule, Kemal and Rob still find time to drop anthemic releases and remixes on a wide variety of labels from Audio Blueprint to Timeless and now their own imprint Negative. Under the alias Konflict, Kemal and Rob released "Messiah" on Renegade Hardware's Aftermath LP. The opening track from Dieselboy's "6ixth Sense" album, this anthem is one of the most recognizable tunes in drum and bass, destroying dance floors around the world.

We apologize for this last minute cancellation. We’ve worked with Nation to soften the letdown with a special offer on the remaining Sasha & Digweed and Chemical Brothers tickets.
