Western Conference > Eastern Conference been that way for a long time, don't care that the last three Stanley Cups went to Eastern Conference teams, the number of good teams in the West is crazy. Northwestern division probably the hardest to compete in...anyhow Anaheim should stomp on the Eastern Conference winner and I'm going to enjoy watching that. Anaheim-San Jose would be a great series to watch as well...if I were a betting woman I would put a ton of money on Anaheim

i completely agree with ya. the western teams are far more ridiculous
then the eastern..and my prediction, likewise, is that Anaheim is gonna take it all the way. got great teams leading the conferences, rest of these games are gonna be great n fun to watch!

Stomp on the eastern conferance teams is taking it a little to far dont u think? Ottawa is just as stacked as the ducks are. On paper they are equal as far as players go. It will be a great series. If the west is so good, why havent they won a cup in three years. I dont care how many good teams are in the west. The only two teams that matter are the ones that are in the stanely cup. The whole west dosnt play that final series.

you are clearly an ottawa fan, i admit they are playing well and their series should be exciting. still doesn't take away from the western teams playing tougher teams than eastern teams. i want anaheim to win the cup. aside from new jersey the eastern teams aren't consistantly competitive, just look at the last stanley cup winners from the east...

Trust me im the Biggest Devils fan u will find around. But at the same time a huuuuugggeeeee hockey fan. Yes the west has stronger teams but in the end they dont matter. All that matters is the east team and the west team. Last time i looked west teams cant play each other in the cup lol.

some western conference finals are way more exciting to watch than the stanley cup finals; that is what i was saying.

The score doesn't really tell the story of the game. With Pronger out this game it was interesting how tonight would shape up. If you ask me he shouldn't have been suspended at all but what you gonna do? Anyhow Giguere was great, at one point the score was 3-3 BUT Detroit had 30 shots on goal and Anaheim 13...Anaheim should knock out Detroit, they had all the momentum at the end of tonight's game and they've proven they could win at the Joe.
At the end a fan threw an octapus on the ice after the empty net goal :haha: :haha: :haha: guess they forgot what side they were cheering for...
