I wouldn't count Detroit out yet.
I still think Anaheim will be gone. It would be nice to win a cup again :D

The Red Wings have outpriced a lot of their fans and they haven't been able to sellout a single playoff game this season. I hope you get to go to the game BUT the only way I'll be ok with Detroit winning another cup is if Colorado wins a third one first ;). also don't you think teemu deserves a cup? i think so. |

I can't stand Colorado.. they irriate the hell out of me.. lol :p

^^^why do you sound so angry?
i'm not a buffalo fan, but i feel for them losing the eastern conference final two years in a row. the team is still young so they have another chance but unfortunately they don't have cap room to keep the entire roster. i'm hoping drury goes back to colorado where he belongs :).
as for ottawa from a fan's prospective its great to see a canadian team make the stanley cup final but from a businss prospective that sucks if the canadian team isn't toronto. anyhow, ottawa really impressed and surprised me though the eastern conference final so i look forward to seeing them play either anaheim or detroit.
edit - if it's detroit i'm gonna become the biggest ottawa fan for the finals :D |

because i think he got tired of hearing sabers fans whine and complain saying they definitely would have beaten carolina and then edmonton had they not had so many injuries. or maybe that's just how i feel lol. buffalo fans went on and on all year talking about being the best in the east and it got them just about nothing. nothing worse than being cocky about your team before they win anything. always comes back to bite you in the ass.
buffalo fans are just as annoying as ranger fans still complaining about when they played in the last series. the excuse "ottawa is killing buffalo because we tired them out" is bull. ottawa is winning cause they have a sound 4 line team that plays well defensively and has learned from numerous past playoff disappointments and is doing what needs to be done this year.
even though they beat my devils in a closer series than 5 games would indicate, i am still pulling for them in the playoffs. they have a bunch of great fans too. very hockey knowledgeable as well.

^^Sorry babes, but since my rangers are out (not big surprise) I am gonna probably go for anyone who plays against Detroit. Not because I have this strong hate for them, but because I just want to see someone else win. (I know, I KNOW I am a yankees fan so that is hypocritical!!) LOL... NO strong preference otherwise. |
