I like it, my only beef is that its getting very congested.. I mean like Linkin Park congested... I liked a couple years ago when you could get a parking spot like cake. and thats my 2 cents.

Well it is a college campus after all. I live in one of the dorms in the south loop, it's a great area. Not only is it super convienient for getting to class, but it's next to grant park and not far from the museum campus.

I live @ Roosevelt & Indiana... Museum Park area. I absolutely love it and am looking to buy a place in the same area. There are a ton of restaurants that are excellent (Oysy, Opera, Zapatista, Gioco), it's close to grant park and the train. My best advice it to stay within the following perimeter:

From 17th to 8th (North & South) and from Prairie to State (East to West).

South of 19th is kinda scetchy with the stray bums and rif raf from the Cermak area... some still make it up to the northern part of the SoLo but it's fairly safe since Mayor Daley lives 2 block south of me and has an officer on standy 24 hrs with the car running!

get in where you fit in... it's a buyers market with the abundance of new construction and 'investors' that were looking to flip something after closing on their new place.
