TSUNAMI, Area Event and Studio Mezmor Present S.U.N. Project!
S.U.N. Project are Hi-Man Mccoy, Matthias Rumoeller and Marco Menichelli, a psychedelic trance project from Germany. They're known for the usage of guitars, which results from their time as a metal band before they went to Goa in 1992. Since then they developed a very unique PsyTrance sound. Tonight S.U.N. Project celebrates their 10 Year Anniversary tour with DJs Luis and Brandon Adams.
In the SideBar, Massive NYC present Sean Tyas, Simon Patterson aka Dogzilla, and Tom Colontonio.

i heard something about them closing down. Any truth to that?? In any event, they have nothing posted past hernan.
Seems like they should switch the talent in the reed room to the main room. |

| So says the guys on TA, of course. I, for one, have been to many a Sun Project (and Tsunami) party and they've all had a pretty packed crowd (Avalon, Spirit) and the music was soooo on point. Granted, Sean Tyas and Dogzilla are gunna rip the room apart, Sun Project is even more famous, just in a different scene. Either way, both rooms are gunna be crazy that night, for SURE! |

I've heard of them too, i just have my preferences. I don't think it will be packed. Friday nights have been pretty wack, as far as attendance, the last few times i went to pacha and crobar. with the exception of ferry (which for obvious reasons does not count) |

Tsunami parties have always been known to be siiick and creative (from their lineups to their decor, etc.) in fact i used to be into psy-trance and goa for a few yrs before discovering progressive trance. SUN project is REALLY well-known.
Certainly nothing wrong with them being in the main room. besides I like the way the newly renovated reed room is setup -- i cannot *WAIT* to see how they use it for Sean Tyas/Dogzilla. :toothless
wow Friday is gona be hella awesome...ill def be back and forth between the two rooms for sure! :toothless |

LOL, Trance in any main room in 2007 isn't what most clubbers call "BEST TALENT".
:p :D |

| tsunami parties are my favorite. i used to actively go to all of them. sun project and luis are both very good. the whole lineup for the night should be good so everyone should check out both rooms. and Nils idk about that comment, its just a different scene |

There are still a lot of psy parties going on, you would be surprised. Actually, several friends of mine go to some weird festival in Germany every year with the best goa and psytrance. Goa (India) has become one of the top clubbers' destinations lately, so much that it's not a good place to go anymore.
It IS a weird scene and group of people (has anybody gone to CoSM?), but they managed to keep their scene kinda hidden (at least in NYC). Good for them. |
