That's cool, I never knew about your army escapades. Why didn't you feel like senselessly slaughtering Palestinians for the sake of ______ though? I mean, who doesn't???
I guess Arbiter is the person here you look up to? I don't know Arbiter at all and, don't get me wrong, the guy could write an Encyclopedia much better than most people could read one, but he's a bit predictable in his dissertations anymore if you ask me. That guy needs to join or lead a cult or something - I bet he'd be really good at it. You, on the other hand, I'm not quite sure what to think about you. Sometimes it seems like you're just trying to imitate him by arguing ceaselessly when everyone around you is being slightly illogical, sometimes it seems like you have a super firm grasp on the subject and can write very well about it - either way, I like your posts and think that you should start looking up to yourself more often than others. |

firstly because it was mandatory, secondly because i never identified with my nation or its goals (nor its so called enemies), found a reason to identify with it, or a desire to stay here.

you know how i think of myself as extremely logical? well, i think of him as being moreso logical, in other words i reach the same conclusions as he does, only he does it with greater efficiency in speed, communicability and level of idea-development as far as i can perceive. i doubt i hold a single developed belief that contradicts any of his.

to use the cliched analogy of a debate as a fight, for me the arguments of the former type represent sparring matches which at least at the conscious level, are not attempts at imitation, whereas the latter type are the actual contests.
they both offer me a lot of information and enjoyment.
