Has anyone else moved on?

I used to be a major trance head, from 2000 to about a year ago trance was all i would listen to and I loved most of it, but recently I have been INCREDIBLY picky about my trance, and I have sort of lost interest. The only trance tunes that give me a rush in the genital area now are ones from 99-01.
Has anyone else experienced this fading interest? I still Love EDM, but I have moved on to IDM and downtempo and listen to those genres more frequently now. |

It will never die i'm telling you..it will never die! (these threads). I guess it's just something we're going to have to live with for now on..I think they've just become a big joke if you ask me. |

yeh dude most likely. Its not really the fact that people act like trance is dead that bothers me its the fact that the people make these threads think we give 2 s about what they like and if we feel the same way. Like they are trying to kill trance just because they dont like it. pathetic... |

i've moved on from certain types of edm...
my taste is still evolving...i have tolerance for a lot of edm... i've always been into d&b, techno, some industrial, trance, certain types of house, etc.
from 1998 or so to now, my range has changed. when i first was going to the clubs and downloading music when i was younger, i was exposed first to the mainstream stuff and then i went to look for less mainsream and less poppy- edm tracks.
some of the stuff i used to listen to is stuff i wouldn't listen to now (dj sammy, dj encore, scooter, a lot of poppy dance, etc). |

| I haven't listened to trance much at all in the past year or two, favoring House a lot more. To be honest, though, I've moved back into rock pretty heavily, and mainly because of suggestions made here on TA. New Order, The Stone Roses, etc. were all bands I'd never heard of before. |

Dang dude, im glad u discovered new order, when i found out about them like a year ago i was siked! the fathers of edm imo. |
