Anyone know much about this guy, just caught some of "just a blip" on rob da bank's show and WOW, absolutely awesome. Like nothing I've heard before.

ps: i know he used to be in Everything but the Girl

Was in Everything But The Girl, then moved onto the Lazy Dog era with Jay Hannan which was a deep house nite in London for five years. Now has his BuzzinFly label n calls his new direction "deep house for the electro generation". He's by far my favourite DJ at the moment, and will be for a fair while.

Always on the cusp on new tunes, always deep down as hell, but never forgets the beauty n soul that music can portray. Check out his BuzzinFly mixes, plus there's a 6 hour set from DNA Lounge that he did with Justin Martin a while back which is phenomenal n there's an Essential Mix from 2005 that he did which is great as well, but no where near as techy as he is now.

Highly recommend seeing him live - there's a monthly Sunday party at Plastic People in London somewhere, i hope to make it some time!

ben watt is the . and so is his record label.
MindShifter
only seen him once but he dropped one of the best sets i've ever seen. he likes to use a lot of accapellas (bjork etc) over tracks and as many have mentioned buzzin fly is the . the aforementioned justin martin is great as well.

He's definately a great producer, and his Lazy Dog and Buzzin Fly mixes are well done.

He is someone to watch if you're into some good Deep House.

I've seen him a few times, only in Miami though. He's a fantastic DJ with heaps of talent/experience behind his name. Definitely need to check him out if you ever get the chance. The releases on his Buzzin' Fly label never disappoint.

brilliant producer, even in the pre-house days his production work on the EBTG albums was great. he has said in some interviews that he would have never gone into house music if todd terry hadn't done his simple (bootleg) remix of missing, causing him to try to knock about some house beats himself. some of his best house productions (on his own that is) would be his remix of zero7 - home and lone cat
