SONIC / Jack in the Box commercials airing in Chicago

Anyone else here tired of seeing the commercials? They air none stop and there is neither a Jack or a Sonic within 100 miles of chicago city limits.
Its frustrating because when I lived in Texas, Sonic / Jack in the Box were staples and I would really like to eat some but I'm not driving 100 miles. Plus I can't believe they have been paying for premium chicago commercials spots for years... I just dont get it...

Another thing that is awesome in Texas is Ci Ci's pizza buffet which recently opened up by Park Ridge... that is definitely worth checking out...

neither of those places are "classy" enough for my presence.

Imagine how it feels to be in Wisconsin and get the same ads :(

I'm pretty sure the closest one to me is about 450 miles - yet I get ads for both companies all day, every day.

GOD DAMN YOU CABLE TV!!!!!

We get the same thing in michigan, and this has been a major issue with myself and friends for years now. I'm pretty sure that the commercials are all nationally run so they aren't paying extra for Chicago, etc... But anyways, I finally went to a sonic in florida (there are two within 10 minutes of my place) and found that its just in overrated. They have awesome commercials but thats it. The shakes are decent, but everything else is meh in my opinion.

:stongue: I remember one of my college rugby trips to Carbondale where my friend lectured the 15 year old kid working at Sonic for making a poor quality slushie. Hardees is another one, though you lucky Wisconsinites definitely have them up there and can get all the 60 ounce Nascar collectors cups you want!

I don't have a CiCi's OR a Sonic's anywhere around me either. It's ing annoying  All you can eat pizza & salad for $5.99?? YES PLEASE!! But nooo, nothing!!

I was on a business trip in Phoenix and my co-worker and I hit up Sonic's EVERYDAY for breakfast because we'd never seen one anywhere in Southern California :stongue:

Does anyone know if the Little Ceasars I found up near Addison serves the Hot and Ready 5 Dollar Pizzas like they do back in Michigan?

And as for those blasted Sonic Commercials, I hate how that woman is so grown up and thinks she is soooo smart. I must say the guy is not that smart either though, although his drink does sound much better if you ask me. Oh and, If I got a hot fudge sundae, I would want the fudge to be hot, why wouldn't you assume that much?

Wow, This post was crucial.
