Ladies, how much do you hate the pill? So so so so much. I think that it is one of the most awful things created.
Anyone crazy enough to try the depo-provera *sp?*? You have to be out of your flipping tree to do this.
Men, will you be willing to take the pill for men when it is on the market? If you expect women to take the chances with this, but wont try it yourself... well you. Go and wank.

This morning I had a doctors appt. which included the pap etc. While there I asked about the IUD which has intrigued me. I have done quite a bit of research, and have read that it is quite effective, and there is 0 maintainence with little risk = perfect for moi.
So, I asked about it, my doc said it was a good idea... and now I have a prescription and I am on the waiting list to have the procedure done.

NuvaRing® is a different kind of birth control. The comfortable, flexible contraceptive ring that is about two inches in diameter is used to prevent pregnancy. I hated the pill, it gave me headaches and high blood pressure, about it's only value was a regular and much more mild period cycle, but there's other medications you can get which are far less intrusive to manage that.
At the moment in my current relationship, nil chance of pregnancy so none required. |

I'm pretty sure guys could handle the effects of the pill because we're not little girls. I imagine it would be something like...
-"Oh noes I'm getting a little chubby...meh"
-"what's this? mood swings? it must be because of the pill, I'm certainly not going to get mad at my girlfriend for no reason then throw a fork at her when she tries to calm me down"
