Alright... so I will answer my own questions.
This morning I had a doctors appt. which included the pap etc. While there I asked about the IUD which has intrigued me. I have done quite a bit of research, and have read that it is quite effective, and there is 0 maintainence with little risk = perfect for moi.
So, I asked about it, my doc said it was a good idea... and now I have a prescription and I am on the waiting list to have the procedure done.

IUD's are extremely dangerous. Yes that are very effective against pregnancy, but if you use one for enough time you may not need BC ever again.. /you could become infertile |

this is the danger with ANY forms of bc with the exception of condoms. all forms of bc can make a woman go sterile (again with the exception of condoms). it is an unfortunate reality. |

It's quite possible that I'm infertile, but I wouldn't know because I've never been to a gyno. One of these days I'll get around to it. |

Just don't go to the one that's using curling irons as the probes. That would be a gino, not a gyno, it can get confusing. |

low overall was always fine for me. no side effects, no weight gain or whatever...i just could never remember to take the pill so i gave up.
did the shot (forget what it's called) and i dropped too much weight and my doc took me off it.
haven't been on BC in years. don't really like the idea of it, but i also don't like the idea of getting knocked up right now either so i think i'm gonna go on it when i have my next appt. lol |
