We all know Dave Chapelle is a comic genius but after his mental breakdown and South African hiatus, I think he'll never be the same. I recently stumbled across the interview he did with Oprah after his return, and I was dam Dave is crazy. Seems like when ppl get really rich or popular they just snap and self-destruct.
So whats the verdict crazy or not and will he ever return to be the comic we knew and loved? |

He recently did a 7 hour stand-up performance, breaking a measly 4-5 hour record.
I heard he had the crowd laughing the entire time too. ;) |

Running from the pressure of stardom and show business isn't really going crazy in my opinion. I don't believe what he did was "self-destructing".
I like his standpoint on returning the share of the revenue from the DVD sales back to the people who support him. |
