Yeah I don't get how that works. But this movie should be awesome, with Spielberg and Bay running the show. Bay movies are always fun to watch (Bad Boys 2, Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, The Rock) so yeah it's gonna have great actions scenes. They already announce a trilogy for the Transformers series.

And I love how they kept intact the sound that they make when they transform (see Optimus transforming).

Agreed. Tradition is everything. Well, at least to me it is.

I forgot the autobot's name who's a police car, cause he's a Ford Mustang.

Bluestreak was his name... and there's a police car in this movie as well but he's actually a Decepticon: Barricade (Saleen-modified Ford Mustang police car)

Megatron is USAF prototype switch blade,

some sources say he's a Cybertronian jet.. looks that way when he's transformed..

Soundtrack (I think his name is ((the cassette))) is a helicopter.

I think you meant Soundwave... the helicopter I originally thought was Vortex, who's the helicopter that's part of the Combaticons (Decepticons), but sources say it's actually Blackout who transforms into a MH-53 Pave Low chopper.

It's funny if Soundwave was in this movie, in this day and age would he still transform into a cassette player or an iPod? lol.. ironically however, Frenzy who was one of Soundwave's cassette tapes transforms into a CD player in the movie.

Yeah can't wait for this movie.

neither can I .. but I get this feeling that a lot of Transformer purists will be disappointed by the GM automobile monopoly and numerous changes from the original cartoon series that were necessary for on-screen adaptation. For one, they don't all arrive in a giant spaceship rather they come in these pods resembling meteors falling from the sky, you can actually see them in the trailer.

this movie is gunna kill it.....
TRILOGY....TRILOGY....TRILOGY....

Well now I know what I'll be getting my little cousins and nephews for christmas. I can see it now. A whole new line of transformer merchadise. The Legend is reborn.

*wondering why the cartoon network doesn't air reruns of the original cartoon*

I wonder what they're gonna do with the sequels, I'll be pretty angry is they introduced Beast Wars, although it would be pretty amusing :D

Yeah a lot of these stuff I'm not too familiar with since I was very young when Transformers were around (Being only 21). But yeah when they were filming the movie, I heard it was the Switchblade that was used for Megatron, and the voice actor changed too for Megatron, it's Hugo Weaving now (V for Vendetta, Agent Smith, Elven King in LOTR) which should be interesting he has a deep evil voice, nothing compared to James Earl Jr though.
