It's not on anymore, but it was funny as hell. Cheeky Chappie and Mr Shake Hands Man were my fave. I think Takeshi's Castle still runs on ftn now and again but The Krypton Factor is more my cup of tea. Old skool game shows FTW. :thepirate

The Krypton Factor was UK gameshows at their best. Bullseye was my fave :) Jim Bowen was always smacked up on something.

haha, so true. I think occasionally someone would win the big prize, well when I watched it, it was a caravan. Dunno about the speedboat though... :p

Oh my God, finally a topic near and dear to my heart! My roomate and I this year decided to get cacti, and we were obsessing over it - what kind, how prickly, flowering or nay, etc. He actually dreamed about it - he was in a garden care store, and found the perfect cactus, only to find out that it was 4200 dollars! Needless to say, it was a nightmare. He woke up in a really agitated state, pretty depressed, going on and on about how we would never find a cactus for our apartment. Had the whole room down for a week.

However, one day we went to a Meijer store to get groceries, and I saw a display with cacti. They were tiny - mere cacti babies really. But they were only $2 each!!! So we bought three, plus 5 pounds of cactus soil, a few pots, and some small Mexican Day of the Dead figurines to watch over them. By the time we had them planted in our apartment, they had already become legend on campus. People flocked by the pair to come and see our magnificent flora. We placed them under an original Monet (print) so as to magnify their beauty. Whenever we were asked about our cacti, my roomate would launch into a verbose soliloquoy on the symbolism of each prickly pear, and I would merely add at the end the reason behind our purchase: cacti are beautiful (flowers) while retaining their manliness (pricklies), summing up both our masculinity and softer side at the same moment.

Hehe, it was either a caravan, speedboat or fitted kitchen. My brother would always say "How do they split a speedboat between them?"

Numpty.

"What, with a chainsaw?"

Peter Kay made a lot of jokes about Bullseye.

That was highly touching, thank you...I'll never look at cacti the same.
