My mum and dad used to have this cactus. When it flowered it smelt like rotting flesh. Disgusting!

ummm no. what you have to do with drop a football from a low passing airplane. if you hit the cactus with the football, you will have good luck for 5 years. if the football touches the cactus, but doesn't explode, then you will fall in love with the first person you see when you touch back down on the ground

Yes, sunsnail is correct. They grow only in the Sonoran desert and are protected because they are so fragile in such a harsh environment. Takes forever for them to mature and their survival is against all odds.
