Whoever had the bright idea of having Dave Seaman play before Boratto and Mayer should be shot.

thats what i said. it was a waste of time for me to have gone out last night. I only caught like 40 minutes of Boratto cuz I had to drive back to Santa Barbara. I only went to see Gui Boratto and Michael Mayer. I've never been a huge fan of Dave Seaman.

The timeslots and order of the dj's was completely retarded. I didn't even get to see Michael Mayer at all.

This was my first time at Avalon in a really really long time. Its funny to see that there is practically no indication that 'Spundae' still exists in LA. Spundae dj's were in the honey lounge...the sound in there sucked ass. The dj's from Ladytron were playing some sick on the terrace, but the sound sucks in there too.

I love what Avalon has done with the main room tho. It looks really nice.

This was the 3rd time I've been back to Avalon since Giant left and I have to say that the production in the main room was awesome. That must have been a first because usually they don't have all that white stuff up and the visuals aren't nearly as cool. The vj was looping shots of the dancers and distorting them and making them play to the beat. It was kinda neat to see Avalon like that again, made me a little nostalgic :p

I was there. Curly saw me, I didn't see anyone else though. You must not have seen me in my ninja costume.

when those guys start giving spundae the credit they deserve, then maybe i will come hang out and spend $13 for a weak drink again.
