I used to use Winamp, but it's too high maintenance - constantly reorganizing folders of music, loading and reloading playlists, etc.
iTunes doesn't allow much customization, etc., but for playlist purposes, it fits the bill for me. |

| I hate the scroll feature on itunes, espically for long sets. Winamp's scroll bar is so nice and smooth and easy. |

Hmm, Im using the latest version of Winamp. It takes <5MB in tray, <10MB maximized w/o playlist and <17MB maximized w/ playlist. So ya... |

I can't believe nobody has mentioned REALPLAYER FREE
It's compact, fast, efficient, and great for streaming music. |

The only reason I use Itunes. The playlists own so hard!
And capitalizt real player used to be good about 7 years ago, now it's all clutter and always has junk attatched to it. Once iTunes came out, I switched to that real quick from real player, which was about 3 years ago. |

cant be winamp5. thats winamp 2.x. im tempted to go back to 2.98. |
