Atleast it's my worst nightmare... and I'm suffering through it!
Sitting in the movies last night watching the Pirates of the Carribean. I had to go to the bathroom, but I waited, it was at the climax of the movie. I couldn't sit there any longer, and I started to burn up in my seat and couldn't sit still. I had to leave about 1/2 hour before the movie finished and rushed to the washroom.
I come out just as the movie lets out and my friends ask if I'm ok, I replied I think there's something wrong. We walked back to the car and I'm in some serious pain now, right in my lower left abdominal. I couldn't drive home, I asked one of my friends to drive me to the hospital... and if I ask someone to drive me to the hospital, I KNOW there's something wrong!!
Get there, and I'm about to keel over. I can't sit still or even find a compfortable position. Finally get in and the doctor takes some blood, gives me a shot of morphine and tells me I'm passing a ing kindey stone!!!! :sadgreen:
I have a very high pain treshold and normally think mind over matter... but I never had pain like this before! I was supposed to go to Toronto today for an interview, and here I am sitting on my couch, unable to rest... waiting for this goddamn thing to pass through! :mad:
I know it's much more common in men than women, so if there's anyone here that's had this before, please oh please tell me what I can do to ease this pain.... although the perkecets (however you spell it) are helping. Reading about it on the internet, I read I should just dirnk more water, and that's all I can really find.
I've always been super scared of this happening to me, and now it's happening. I never hope for this to happen to anybody! Stilez tells me it's like pregnancy for a man.... think I'll go cry now :nervous: |

| Worse feeling in the world. Had one a few years ago but the stupid thing was to big to pass so I had to have surgery. It was f*cking awful. |

| One of my friend was passing a kidney stone and he said it's the worst pain you can ever feel, he said he rather gets stabbed or shot than to feel it. He says weed helps ease the pain :D |

Actually I read that drugs actually provokes it! But weed isn't really a drug... right!?!? |

My friend passed a few and said it's like a little ball with razor blades on it when it's moving around. And when you pass that little razor-ball through your peepee, you're not going to be very happy.
He was in the hospital on morphine for a couple (if not all) of his, so if the pain gets worse, you might go back to the hospital since it might be close to passing.
The female nurses said that they would rather give child birth than be a man passing a kidney stone. |
