I heard drinkning lots of water helps. You need lots to dissolve the minerals in your kidneys so that they go out with your urine and dont settle. If they settle, it can form into a stone.
I dont have experience with this but know someone that does, and it is supposedly the worst form of pain a person can experience. And nothing will help either, you just have to endure it until it passes. |

Well, men pass it through their penis, which is why it hurts much more. So yeah, I'm not really saying it feels better for a woman, just hurts more for a man, ja know?
And dehydration + calcium surplus helps these stones develop.
Here are some ways to help prevent them if you're susceptible:
- consume lots of water
- "" less caffeine (coffee, soda, energy drinks)
- "" less sodium (salt, custom seasonings, just about any restaurant/takeout food, any prepared/frozen dinners - all high in sodium)
- increased intake of antioxidants (cranberry juice, green & black tea, pomegranate juice) |

fuk dude... that sounds painful... the worst pain i ever had to feel was when i had an colonoscopy. kinda graphic but the doc basically thought he only had to go in a small amount... but turned out he couldnt find the issue so he kept going, a total of 31/2- 4 feet. for that length, you usually get medication to numb the intestines... but he didnt. and he kept pushing. every turn he made in my tract felt like the damn camera was coming out of my body. i was ready to kill him but knew if i twisted any way, i would probably break something inside me. i almost fainted from the pain.
but yea.. a kidney stone would def freakin hurt |

I've heard this numerous times.. moderate beer consumption is supposed to be beneficial for the urinary system |

I'm surprised that they didn't try ultrasonic therapy, at the hospital, to break the stones down and make them easier to pass.
You have my sympathy on this one:( |
