Wait Pete's taste in music is lame. From what I hear it was all minimal techno, so honestly.. how fun could it have been?

At the festival there definitely were some very good house bookings, but there was some sick, sick techno, minimal, and random beeps and clicks at the afters (especially after 7am) :D

At that point for you, I'm pretty sure they could have been playing maximal drill & bass and it'd still have just been random beeps and clicks to you :p

Don't speak so soon, 7 am was early, I was still up rockin at booka shade at 8:45 PM, and fully aware that they were destroying me. :)

DEMF was a lot of fun this year. I'd have to say the Beatport lawn facing the river was probably one of the most interesting and enjoyable locations within Hart Plaza. Hart Plaza is by far one of the most unique venues I have ever seen. Gui was sweet on the pyramid stage, everyone seemed to like his music which was cool. Booka Shade on the main stage became absolutely rediculous once the crowd decided to show up. Richie's afters at MOCAD was perfect, and I actually got to see Magda for the first time. Kate Simko and the other girls at Buzz Bar on Saturday were good too. I head good things about the other afters both nights. Personally, I feel like its a real shame how terribly the local news in Detroit covers the festival. They need to just duct tape a camera on garth's head and let him run around and do their job for them. Beyond all that, Stacey Pullen and Richie on Monday were both a good time...umm just seeing everyone who made it out was probably the best part of it all. I can't wait until the next time.
