Favorite lounge/bar for cheap drinks & on which day

What are your favorite CHEAP hot spots IN TORONTO to go for a casual drink with friends - and on WHICH night of the week? I'm talking like a lounge or bar, not a dance club.
Something like the Labyrinth on Wednesday's for $4 martini's.
I know there was a thread similar to this before - but it was discussing more dance clubs that spin EDM. I'm talking more of a place to just go out for cheap drinks and no dancing. |

| labyrinth is a dive...as for cheap drinks, sneaky dees has $2.75 domestic beer on wednesdays and then for martinis, eat my martinis has $5 martinis everyday and they pretty good |

mondays: Martini Bar for $4.25 martinis or Jacks for $1.25 half pints
tuesday: not sure
wed: Jim Bobs for $2.50 cocktails
Thurs: Jacks $2.50 drinks, GTs $2 or 2.50 cant remember
Fri: no specials
Sat: no specials
Sun: Jacks. not sure on price, around 3 i think |

| Schmooze happy hour... 2 for 1 beers, coolers and reg drinks. Friday nights after work, lineups go huge if too late. Big Yuppie crowd and dress code. From like 5 till 9pm. |

i went there in dec wearing a suit (it was after a formal Christmas dinner) and they wouldnt let me in cos i was under 25 :rolleyes:
meanwhile the women walked by and they didnt even ID them...bad policies...the music in there didnt sound all that great either |
