UNIFIED Productions is holding a dj competition every Weds during the month of June!!!!!!!!!
Our weekly Weds event , UNIFIED WEDS, will be moving locations in July. Currently we're located @ Cherry Red, 2838 N. Sheffield. Cherry Red will be closing it's doors for good, and we're looking for some fresh talent to be a resident at our new location: Club Envy.
Club Envy will be the newest addition to the Chicago nightlife scene, opening it's doors at the end of July!!
We're looking for a few good DJ's to join our team and do biweekly performances @ Club Envy.

If so, contact Eric @ [email protected]. Leave your contact information, the type of music you spin (we're only looking for electronic music DJ's), what platform you use (CDJ's, Vinyl, LIVE, etc...), and your contact information. We will get in contact with you soon!
You may also show up @ Cherry Red on Weds nights between 9pm & 2am to register for the following weeks event.

Battles are ohh so last year. I mean honestly who battles with electronic music? And if it is an EDM battle how does one battle exactly with that type of music, things like this just make me laugh to be completely honest with you. I have been in this game for a while now and a battle is not the way to bring in proper music to your establishment.
I mean I give you props for giving new people a chance to get on the decks and show what they got. But there are much better ways to find and bring in talent then an EDM Battle.

You're right!!!
I should have said "contest". We have 3 people judging, you play your music. We listen. We judge on mixing skills, continuity of the mix, crowd response, and how much we like your set personally.
At the end of June we're going to pick 2-3 new dj's for bi-monthly performances at Unified Weds @ Envy...

well that narrows it down... what type of EDM? cuz house is a slightly different than trance... where on the spectrum are you pointing? |
