And since you clearly don't have half a clue what you're talking about, let me just clarify one thing up for you:
RJT = Real person, with real friends, who does real things.
Tucker Max = Lying who fabricates utterly false and ridiculously idiotic stories in order to create some sort of personality that he feel is better than who he really is.
You really shouldn't comment on issues you really know nothing about - so just to be safe, I'd just refrain from commenting on anything at all. |

Ooh i hit a nerve here. im not talking about your RL rob, just your postings of and about it on TA. the internet is all image in most cases. i just thought it was interesting that you 'share' much about yourself on TA, but think tucker is an ass just because he makes up stories so people will give him money.
you both have an image to others, many of whom who will never meet. for instance, you now think im an idiot when you havent met me, judging by a few things ive said and my TA image.
that might not make sense to you, but thats fine.
most of the time you think everyone in the c0r wants or needs to know your opinion on everything and that is mine| |

not to take sides in this debate, but from someone who knows Rob, i can say that he is the same person both online and in real life (it'd be pretty hard for either of us to portray fake personalities on this site, lol). he's not "crafting" anything, or putting forth some image that isn't who he really is.
Tucker Max on the other hand... he is creating stories to create an image that people find entertaining. maybe parts of them are true, i never knew for sure how much creative license he takes with his writing, but i think he embellishes and exaggerates in order to make them crazier/funnier/etc.
also... posting on a forum with a bunch of your friends as a means of wasting time or entertaining yourself is a lot different than keeping up your own website and writing books in order to make money.
just imo. |

| also, i used to enjoy reading Tucker Max when i was bored at work. it is what it is... cheap entertainment. i enjoy reading ed up but there's far better writers out there who have a lot more depth and meaning to their work. |

And honestly - the only issues I had with Biz' post is that he's essentially claiming anyone who posts on an internet forum or shares anything personal on the internet is the same as a guy like Tucker Max, which, as illustrated by myself and (far better) by my better half, is simply not the case.

| I don't think he's completely full of , I don't doubt he exagurates his stories a fair bit, and misportrays himself and events to make them funnier/crazier and give him a better image. Not to the extent most people seem to think, but whatever, he's still pretty funny, if completely full of himself. |

i never said that he is going out of his way create an image on this site. im just saying that he does, everyone does in some way. its not really intentional, but you guys do post a lot and most people here dont know you nor will ever.
rob said he not only thought that tucker was not funny, but he was bs for making up stories and an 'image' for his books. sorry im part sociologist, and i over analyze things but i get uppity when people give others upon which they've involved themselves in even unintentionally(telling stories to complete strangers for the hell of it)| |
