How is the scene in Poland ??

| originally I’m form Warsaw, I left in like 89 have been back a few times but I didn't have a chance to go out due my visits being rather short, and I always wondered what the scene is like in Warsaw is there an a few world renowned DJ's in every weekend?? or is the scene ruled by locals. I know there are a few larger festivals etc can someone fill me in plz .... next time I visit I really wanna go out and check it out and I just wanna know what to expect |

| Most of us Germans that go there for the various events say it`s the best country to party in Europe at the moment. Regarding the forum you will find most of the big Polish events with a thread in the German forum. |

how do people feel about a tech-house, minimalist type of sound? i was planning on visiting europe this summer, especially my homeland : ), and looking into a few gigs.
what's this lustro place i keep hearing about? |

Tech house, minimal and techno scene is in pretty good shape :) We live close to Berlin after all :) We have many many good DJ`a and producers like SLG, 3 Channels and Jacek Sienkiewicz. You should know them :)
And Luztro? Haha, classic -an afterhour club. I`ve beed there on many many good parties! It`s a very specific club. |

3 channels and sienkiewicz are definitely amongst my favorites. good to hear the house/techno scene is doing well.
luZtro, you say. lol. oh ok. i'll definitely have to stop by there. what else would you recommend in the warsaw and poznan areas? |

I think you should visit Club 55, Vinyl and maybe Piekarnia in Warsaw. In Poznan you definityly should go do SQ Club.

I'm from Torun and have been back every summer for the past 4 years
There's some sweet clubs in the stare miasto area
Hipnoza - house/techno - GREAT atmosphere (careful, don't go on a top 40 night - it's all thug love)

There's an amazing club called Monaco - dirty dirty house beats whenever I've been there - very upscale crowd - and I've seen Polish mafia there lol
They just closed down an underground rave called Imperium.
It used to be called Central Park - authorities closed it down because of its scandalousness - it re-opened as Imperium for 5 years and got closed again ... this club was total underground EDM madness
