So Im in a wedding next weekend and I took the dress in to get altered today. Basically, I had my mom measure me 4 months ago and then ordered the size based on that. Well, 4 months went by and now Im apparently two sizes smaller because this dress is huge and needs to be taken in EVERYWHERE.
And its going to cost me 185 bucks.
The dress itself only costs 150. No, I cant order a smaller size, it took three months for the dresses to come in. Apparently the company makes them to order.
Have any of you girls had any experience with this? Ive never had to take something in and get it totally redone. WHY IS IT SO FRIGGING MUCH?!

it takes a lot of time. one of my best friends mom is really good at sewing and alterations and what not but yeah it takes a lot of time. |

| I don't remember ever having $185 alterations done...then again, I don't wear dresses too often. |

Theres nothing wrong with it, the problem is that Im totally broke. I was saving money to pay my fees in August. |
