Exactly, once you lose weight you gotta buy all new clothes. It's a pain but DAMN it feels nice to look good :p
Like a friend of mine once said, "when you get new boobs you have to get rid of your old boob dresses!" lol |

So Im in a wedding next weekend and I took the dress in to get altered today. Basically, I had my mom measure me 4 months ago and then ordered the size based on that. Well, 4 months went by and now Im apparently two sizes smaller because this dress is huge and needs to be taken in EVERYWHERE.
And its going to cost me 185 bucks.
The dress itself only costs 150. No, I cant order a smaller size, it took three months for the dresses to come in. Apparently the company makes them to order.
Have any of you girls had any experience with this? Ive never had to take something in and get it totally redone. WHY IS IT SO FRIGGING MUCH?!
Gosh. :sadgreen: |
i guess you should be thankful that it's not 4 sizes to small (i.e. you've become a fatty).
didn't do deal w/ this expensive dress crap at prom? i thought all women just accepted it |

Oh my Jesus Christ. Yes, its great. Woo hoo!
What Im asking is if anyone has paid THIS MUCH for an alteration. I think Im getting ripped off. 185 bucks seems like a helluva lot to pay. No, its not really like prom because you can try these dresses on at prom. With this, we had to measure and then get a size, it took three months to come in, and now I have to get it altered.
Another girl that went there for the exact same service two weeks ago paid 90 dollars. I think Im getting scammed.
edit: Where the HELL is Theresa? I feel like shes been through this before... |
