| Yeah... I find myself going to clubs (and checking this site) less and less as time passes. My peak clubbing time came a few years back after the breakup of a long relationship... I remember times when I'd drive up to NYC (I live between Baltimore and DC) for a show Friday night after work, then drive back without sleeping, crash for a few hours at my place, and then head into DC or wherever for Saturday night. Now, I wouldn't even consider doing that. I guess the whole mega-club / mega-DJ thing just doesn't do it for me the way it used to. I still listen to and love the music, and I'll still catch the occasional show if the DJ & location are right, but I def would no longer consider myslef "hardcore" by any stretch. But, I'm getting old(er), and have other interests and responsiblities... Oh well  |

I gotz me some kidz now...
Ive seen it all done it all...but i do look forward to "special events"...such as this summer..in Ibiza...i dont really go out much but i do have my occasional fix..when i have the enrgy.
I started really young and early and seems AGES ago ...how time flies..
P.S. About DJ Tacucher...I heard from a close friend of his that he is totally underground now doing really electro hard dance music and doesnt want to be in that "trance" scene anymore..hence reason why hes never around anymore...
I caght him at Webster a few years ago..it was fun:D |

the excitement of going out has definitely decreased in the past couple months...from 1999 - 2001 I was out every weekend in Boston, I knew nothing and everything was still fresh and new. I pretty much stopped and didn't get back into the scene until 2005 when I was abroad because people seemed to appreciate the music so much more in Eastern Europe. When I moved to NYC I got that new city feeling again and after being here for a little over a year that feeling has gone away.
Now I'm starting to think clubbing is a bit draining, I no longer have the energy to do other stuff I enjoy like play tennis or even go to the library because I'm too busy sleeping the daylight hours away. Plus nothing seems really fresh and new anymore. As some of you have seen I'm almost ALWAYS having a good time but I do miss doing other stuff sometimes. |
