What was you using the Midi keyboard for? Was you playing anything live?

Because in many peoples eyes it’s perceived as cheating!

I think people only see it as cheating if you are only doing what is achieveable on decks ;)

I was using the MIDI keyboard to control Traktor. ;)

The knobs were mapped to EQ's, sliders mapped to faders, filters, etc.

Nice and all, but that's a pretty crap setup. I'd learn to mix on on CDJs quick, because otherwise you're going to be lugging that and playing on that at every gig.

I already have CDJs, but I just got them and don't have all my tracks on CD yet, so I went with Traktor.

I don't understand why you think it's a crap setup or why I wouldn't want to lug it around?

Laptop + audio interface + MIDI controller

or

CDJ + CDJ + mixer + CD cases

Don't really see the difference. :)
