I like it, seems to be a very nice product. Been using it to record my buddy's band and such as well. :) |

It's still traktor.
And I still think it's a wack way to DJ a club. |

LOL, the dance floor is raised... you step down into the DJ booth.

To each their own.
edit- I still beatmatched by ear (Traktor is not accurate enough to do it on its own anyway), and I still rocked the (small) crowd. Everyone went home with a smile on their face and I got many compliments. Why exactly is it a "wack" way to DJ a club? |

I really don't think it's all that different than using FS, Serato, or whatever the devil else you want to from a PC.

I already have CDJs, but I just got them and don't have all my tracks on CD yet, so I went with Traktor.
I don't understand why you think it's a crap setup or why I wouldn't want to lug it around?
Laptop + audio interface + MIDI controller
or
CDJ + CDJ + mixer + CD cases
Don't really see the difference. :) |
Meh. You shouldn't be dragging your own decks and mixer around for a club anyways :p |

| I think as Dj's/Producers people should embrace the Technology. I felft ripped off when is aw PVD for 1st time NOT MIX VINYL or CD's and use ableton I was upset for about a year. Then I finally got over it and was amazed at what ableton can do. Whatever gets crowd moving, traktor 3 "synch" option works at times but is no where near accurate. I would have to say torqs beatmatching. is way better. |

True, but like I explained earlier... that was kinda my fault, since I just recently got CDJs and don't have my tracks on CD yet. :) |
