I was really impressed that Tony was able to let it go and make peace with Phil. I guess it was him knowing that Dr. Melfie had died and that she would have wanted it that way. |

I got another one:
We (Spy's into their universe) were the one's that got clipped.
The Soprano's move on with their lives as normal. We (The Audience) got clipped. That is why we saw black for 5 minutes. That is what it is like to get shot in the back of the head.
David makes you know what getting clipped is like. You see pitch darkness.
We Got Whacked. We are dead to The Sopranos.
They continue. We are the one's who are dead.
'The last few seconds of the episode were meant to be seen through Tony's eyes. It just didn't come off very well. As Meadow is walking into the diner, Tony gets shot in the back of the head, that is why the screen went black.
Basically its saying,"you never see it coming". |

i watched the first season religiously and then sporatically during the 2nd season, but enough to follow what was going on. 3rd season i totally didn't watch. then i watched the last season religiously again.
wait, that's all of them right? |

'The audience "got wacked?" it makes perfect sense really. Phil was dead, NY family was fine...they just went to some random diner to meet for dinner...no one was going to kill anyone...they just made it as tense as possible so that.."we, the unsuspecting audience," got shot without suspecting it and without hearing a thing. this is BY FAR the best explanation of the ending.' |

yea i got that. i was just being a smart ass because you said "we're dead" like 10 times in your post:p
makes sense though. and to be honest, i missed the first 10-15 minutes of last night's episode. gonna watch it again tonight. , i'll probably even rent all of the seasons to watch over to see how i feel.
what about entourage? i only started watching that this season too. i noticed it didn't come on last night and i missed the last 2 episodes. |
