Eric Prydz to come to Montreal...

Rumour has it he will be doing a North American tour this October/November... Hitting Montreal, Thanksgiving weekend...
From what I've heard, Tribe, Stereo, Opera and Red-lite (out of 7 venues) have made offers... With gig cost ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 $$$
And in case you guys think Prydz only makes cheesy hits like Call On Me and Proper Education... Think again, his alter aliases Cirez and notably Pryda have been massive underground hits... Outplayed by Tong, Digweed, Sasha and the likes...
So what do you guys think??? Which venue should take him??? Is he worth paying that much really??? |

If he can squeeze that much out of one gig, then good on him. Personally, I don't think he's worth it as a dj - his mixes haven't impressed me.
As a producer, he's amazing though - I'd defo see him. But not for $40.
For $15-20, I'd probably give it a go. |

i dont believe those offer prices if afterhours are involved. the only places that could afford that would be tribe or opera becasue of alcohol sales. That may be what he commands in europe, but not over here.

This is not his asking price, but what venues have OFFERED the agent...
By the way.. Me personally, would find it very sad if he were to play say at Opera or Tribe... People there would not even enjoy his music (mainly Pryda and Cirez and the stuff alike when plays)... He would be obliged to play out commercial garbage.... :( |

Well Tribe would be better than Opera (for his true Pryda set and style) if he couldn't do an afterhours... |
