I finally had the chance to listen to this set after months of you posting this and it's just as great as the first one, but more bangin'. Thanks for this.

You guessed right. I agree with the old school making a comeback. I don't think it's limited to house though. You can hear it in trance music too, particularly the classic trance sound. There was a thread I made in which the discussion morphed into the revival of the old trance sound here. That's why I think this new old school isn't limited to house. |
