the woman appears to be staring directly at the bat. The man is sitting next to her. She would be looking towards her left if the bat was hitting him. Besides, his body language does not appear to be that of a man who's being hit squarely in the jaw by the bat. Probably the camera caught a dynamic moment when perhaps he was eating something. It's hard to say. But I don't think the man took the hit. :o Interpreting 2-D images of dynamic 3-D events can be tricky.

true, but look at the dude in the front row in the adidas shirt, he's looking straight at it
given the place that dude, the kid with the soda on the left, and the skeptic in the black shirt in top right, it appears it really is hitting, just has hit, or is immediately about to hit the dude with the weird jaw |

It's ing hard to say. :stongue: Depth perception is all but lost in 2D images. If you look at the little girl, she appears to be staring at the bat too. But her face is turned towards her right, where as the man is sitting sharply to her left and perhaps little bit behind her. It does not appear that people are staring at the man in green shirt, but it does appear that many of them are staring at the bat. :nervous:
